Winter Home

Winter Home My winter boots sank into the snow. The wind slapped my face as it went by. Going home from school felt like forever. As it I stepped on the branches they crackled, the sound sounded like the branches were begging for mercy. Finally making to the frosty bridge that lay ahead, the cold had nearly gotten the best of me. I landed my right foot onto the bridge, it slipped to my left. "This gonna take a while." I admitted.I continued along the bridge with a lot of slips and turns. Every slip sent my hands clinging onto the side bar. The more steps I took the more I left behind. It was like I was in Antartica. I found myself in front of my house. I stepped closer and walked the stairs. I opened the door. -The End
